In 2019, the young generation took over its running and now at the helm are Jeanne Joillot (great grand-daughter of the founder, Robert Joillot), her step-brother, Simon Goutard and Jeanne’s husband, Gregoire Guidot. The property was re-named in 2019 in honour of Jeanne’s grandfather, Georges. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe new approach pays fastidious attention to detail across all aspects. There's grass cover in the vines, harvesting is conducted at a balanced level of ripeness in small, perforated crates and with strict sorting of the grapes. At the winery the grapes are all destemmed, vinification is traditional, in open-topped fermenters and there is particular emphasis on measured extraction to ensure that the finished wines are seamless, graceful and accessible.
