Consequently, Maison Joseph Drouhin has been a pioneer in the Chablis region for almost 50 years, gradually expanding their vineyard holdings to 38 hectares.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRobert’s foresight meant that he was able to accrue some of the best vineyards in the area, including parcels of 4 Grand Crus (Vaudésir, Les Clos, Les Preuses and Bougros) and 7 Premier Crus. The wines are incisively expressive of these individual terroirs and the vintage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince the end of the 1980’s, under the impetus of Philippe Drouhin, Domaine Drouhin Vaudon adopted biodynamic cultivation, born out of a desire to limit man’s impact on nature, and is now the largest estate in Chablis embracing this method of winemaking.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince 2008, the name \"Vaudon\" has been associated with Joseph Drouhin for all its Chablis wines as a sign of the firm's allegiance to this historical terroir.
