The owners Paulo and Alice Tavares da Silva bought Quinta de Chocapalha in the eighties, totally convinced about its true potential as a source of great wine and immediately embarked on an investment programme, starting in the 45 hectares of vineyard.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"c1\"\u003eBy 2000 the most recent vineyard plantings were reaching maturity and the quality of fruit had greatly improved.
