He also worked vintages in Bordeaux and Burgundy, and studied in Beaune, before returning to the US. Radio-Coteau is a colloquial French expression meaning ‘word of mouth’, which is how Eric’s wines are normally discovered, but of course the more literal connotation of ‘broadcasting from the hillside’ has not gone unnoticed.
