House of Boë | Scotland

House of Boë takes its inspiration and name from Professor Franz de le Boë, the historic figure who, back in the seventeenth century, accidentally invented gin while attempting to concoct a medicinal, juniper-infused clearing tonic. Launched with a modern, creative vision, the contemporary house has built a formidable reputation for injecting fun, colour, and bold flavor innovation into the spirit landscape, successfully challenging the traditional boundaries of the trade.

Every expression in the range is meticulously handcrafted in small batches under the watchful eye of a master distiller near Stirling, Scotland. The house style marries a premium, neutral grain spirit with handpicked botanicals, selecting distinct ingredients like warming grains of paradise and aromatic Chinese cassia bark to underscore the classic punch of juniper. This robust, high-quality liquid architecture ensures that whether they are distilling a classic dry style or an experimental fruit infusion, the spirits maintain a genuine, smooth structure that stands up beautifully when mixed.

While their core Boë Gin expressions remain a benchmark for cocktail lovers, the house is celebrated globally for its stunning diversity, which extends into an equally vibrant selection of vodka. From the floral elegance of their signature violet infusions to the sharp citrus brightness of their fruit-driven vodkas, the distillers focus entirely on achieving a perfectly balanced, authentic taste without relying on heavy synthetic additions. It is an incredibly expressive, approachable lineup tailored perfectly for everyday drinkers looking to elevate their home bar with premium Scottish craftsmanship.
