Mount Etna on the Island of Sicily

The jewel in Sicily’s crown is undoubtedly Mount Etna, where the Nerello Mascalese grape produces elegant, ethereal reds with a signature smoky minerality. Across the rest of the island, Nero d’Avola reigns supreme, offering bold, velvety flavours of plum and spice. For white wine enthusiasts, the local Grillo and Catarratto grapes deliver everything from crisp, citrus-led refreshment to complex, textured wines with a distinct sea-salt tang.
