Winemaking relies entirely on nature, which means years change and specific vintages can sell out fast. To ensure your parcel arrives without delay, how we handle a vintage change depends entirely on the price of the bottle.
Wines £20 and under:
We will automatically update your order to the latest available vintage, ensuring the style, character, and quality match your selection perfectly. We will not contact you first.
Wines over £20:
For higher-value bottles and fine wine allocations, we will always get in touch to confirm you are happy with the vintage change before shipping your order.
Stock Availability
On the rare occasion a wine sells out completely in our shop before the website updates, we will never leave an empty slot in your case. Our team will replace it with a similar bottle of equal or greater value at absolutely no extra cost to you.
Prefer zero changes? If you ever require a strict bottle match with no substitutions whatsoever, simply untick the policy box in your basket or drop a quick note into the 'Special Notes' section at checkout.
