
The Vigneau-Chevreau family has been tending vines and crafting wine since 1875. Today, their historic 30-hectare domaine is dedicated entirely to the cultivation of Chenin Blanc, providing an incredibly pure and focused expression of this classic varietal.
The estate is defined by a deep and long-standing commitment to the natural health of its soils. The late Jean-Michel Vigneau recognised the benefits of organic viticulture early on, pioneering the transition in the early 1990s and achieving full certification by 1999.
Since then, the newest generation of the family has taken this dedication even further. They have successfully elevated the estate to become one of only two producers in the entire Vouvray appellation to be officially certified biodynamic. This meticulous, environmentally conscious approach in the vineyard translates directly to the glass, resulting in wonderfully vibrant and engaging wines that capture the true essence of the Loire Valley.
