While many Speyside malts aim for a light and delicate profile, Glen Elgin takes a distinctly different path. The distillers here use traditional wooden worm tub condensers to cool their spirit. This old-school technique, combined with unusually long fermentation times, creates a whisky with a remarkably rich, weighty texture that coats the mouth beautifully.
When you pour a dram of Glen Elgin single malt, you are greeted with incredibly vibrant, sweet aromas.
