Javier Sanz | Rueda

The Javier Sanz winery, located in the Rueda region of Spain, is renowned for producing high quality white wines, particularly from the Verdejo grape variety. The Sanz family have been producing wines in the region for over 150 years across five generations and is presently headed by Javier Sanz, fourth generation winemaker and his daughter Leticia, the next generation caretaker of the vines.

They have gained strong recognition for their sustainable viticultural practices employing techniques that enhance biodiversity and soil health while minimizing environmental impact. They are also heavily involved in the preservation of pre-phylloxera vineyards and bringing back long-lost native grape varieties.
