Eradus 'Ana' Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant, expressive New Zealand white wine crafted by the family-owned Eradus estate in the Awatere Valley, the cooler and windier sub-region at the southern tip of Marlborough. Named after winemaker Michiel Eradus's daughter, Ana, this bottle is produced from the younger Sauvignon Blanc vines planted on the family's stony river-terrace vineyards. While the estate's older vines go into their flagship bottling, these youthful vines naturally channel all their energy into bright, punchy fruit and immediate aromatic lift. Fermenting the juice at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks captures all that youthful vitality straight in the glass. Juicy passionfruit, crushed gooseberry, and pink grapefruit jump right out on the nose, followed by a lively burst of freshly squeezed lime, lemongrass, and cut grass on the palate.
