Planted and built by the world-famous tennis star, Djokovic Wines craft exceptional bottles from Syrah and Chardonnay grapes. These vines are cultivated on a boutique family vineyard near Topola, nestled deep within the renowned wine-producing region of Šumadija in Central Serbia. By producing only 40,000 bottles per year, the estate strictly prioritises quality over quantity, ensuring every single bottle delivers the same focus, power, and flawless elegance you would expect from a world-class champion.
Winemaking in this beautiful pocket of Serbia is thought to have its origins in Roman times. Long-forgotten legions first discovered that these rolling hills were incredibly fertile, boasting a complex mix of soil types and unique micro-climates that provided the perfect natural conditions for growing world-class grapes. It is a spectacular landscape that lets the fruit develop intense, vibrant flavours while retaining a crisp, food-friendly freshness.
Today, Novak’s uncle and the head of the winery, Goran Djokovic, keeps this ancient heritage alive. As he puts it, they are not starting anything new on these historic slopes; they are simply continuing a proud Serbian winemaking tradition that goes back centuries. By combining that deep, generational history with modern, boutique craftsmanship, the Djokovic family has created an elite, limited-edition wine range that stands toe-to-toe with the finest labels in the world.
