Located in the prosperous town of Ribeauvillé, right on the renowned Alsace wine route, Domaine Jean Sipp farms across a beautifully diverse tapestry of vineyard sites. The family tends to small, carefully selected plots spanning five different villages, giving them a rich variety of soils and microclimates to work with. Among these holdings are exceptional hillside sites, including the steeply elevated Clos Ribeaupierre and prestigious Grand Cru vineyards that provide the perfect foundation for their expressive range.

The estate is deeply rooted in the region's heritage, operating from a spectacular seigneurial manor house that dates back to 1416. It has been nurtured by four generations of the Sipp family. Today, Jean-Guillaume Sipp leads the winemaking, having taken the reins from his father after spending time honing his craft alongside respected producers in Burgundy and the Rhône Valley, as well as gaining invaluable perspective working in the New World.

Under Jean-Guillaume's meticulous guidance, the estate places a huge emphasis on environmental sustainability, officially achieving full organic certification. His approach to winemaking revolves around absolute precision, choosing to vinify the wines parcel by parcel to highlight the distinct character of each small plot. This modern philosophy results in styles that lean slightly drier than older vintages from the region, bringing a bright, focused energy to the glass. The resulting selection offers everything from beautifully textured Crémant bursting with soft citrus, to vibrant, age-worthy Rieslings that provide fantastic drinking for anyone exploring the wines of Alsace.
