Sourced from stony vineyard sites across the Wairau and Awatere valleys, the Esk Valley Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a highly aromatic New Zealand white wine. The warmer Wairau fruit provides structure and tropical character, while the cooler Awatere grapes bring sharp acidity and classic herbaceous notes. Following a careful harvest, the individual vineyard parcels are pressed immediately and fermented at cool temperatures to capture their natural freshness. The wine then rests briefly on its lees, gaining a subtle layer of richness and texture before the final blend is bottled. In the glass, it delivers a vibrant upfront wave of ripe passionfruit and bright citrus. As the tropical flavours settle, distinct notes of fresh nettle, cut grass and gooseberry emerge, creating a crisp, dry finish with a highly refreshing edge.
