The Inama Foscarino Soave Classico is a rich and complex Italian white wine crafted from old Garganega vines grown on the dark volcanic basalt of Monte Foscarino. To build texture and weight, the winemaking team ferments and ages the juice in older oak barrels, allowing it to rest on its lees for several months. In the glass, it steps away from crisp green fruit, delivering deep notes of baked lemon and sweet honey. The finish is long and savoury, marked by roasted almonds and a distinct smoky edge drawn straight from the volcanic soil. This structured and weighty Soave wine requires food that can match its intensity. The rich texture and smoky finish pair beautifully with mature hard cheeses, making it a superb focal point for a sharing board.
