Barta Egy Kis Furmint is a wonderfully crisp and energetic Hungarian white wine that serves as the perfect introduction to the country's flagship grape variety. Translated from Hungarian to mean ‘a little,’ the Egy Kis offers a brilliant snapshot of the world-famous Tokaj region. Grown on steeply terraced vineyards, the vines benefit from plenty of warm sunshine and incredibly rich volcanic soils. This unique, demanding landscape produces a highly refreshing white wine that perfectly captures the vibrant and pure character of the Furmint grape. In the cellar, the winemaking team ferments a small portion of the juice in oak barrels to add a lovely layer of smooth texture, while the rest is kept in stainless steel tanks to preserve the bright, natural freshness of the fruit.
