Frog's Leap Merlot is an exceptionally elegant and beautifully balanced Californian red wine crafted in the world famous Rutherford appellation. Situated right in the heart of the Napa Valley, this pioneering estate has long been a champion of organic viticulture and traditional dry farming. By refusing to use artificial irrigation, the vines are forced to dig their roots incredibly deep into the rich soils to find water. This demanding natural environment produces small, highly concentrated grapes that perfectly capture the unique character and vibrant energy of the vineyard. While many modern Napa Valley red wines lean towards heavy, high alcohol profiles, the winemaking team at Frog's Leap takes a wonderfully restrained and classical approach with the Merlot grape.
