Sourced from Syrah vines grown at the foot of the famous Hill of Hermitage, the Ferraton Père et Fils Crozes Hermitage Les Pichères is an exceptional Northern Rhône red wine. The winemaking team applies strict organic and biodynamic farming methods to this single vineyard site before bringing the harvest into the cellar. The grapes are fully destemmed and macerated in traditional concrete vats, followed by up to ten months of maturation in oak barrels. This careful journey from vine to barrel results in a profoundly dark and deeply flavoured French red wine. Pouring a vivid purple in the glass, it immediately offers inviting aromas of ripe blackcurrant, wild bramble, and delicate violet. On the palate, that time spent resting in oak translates to wonderfully soft tannins and a beautifully smooth texture. It seamlessly weaves a signature dash of black pepper and earthy woodland spice through the dark fruit, finishing with a deeply satisfying, savoury edge.
