Rooted deeply into the razor-narrow, iron-rich Coonawarra Terra Rossa clay and underlying limestone, these mature vines produce tiny, highly concentrated berries teeming with immense structural power and natural, bright acidity. Following a patient extended maceration on the skins to seamlessly integrate the grape's natural, fine-grained tannins, the wine was matured for 18 months in premium French oak barriques.
